Overview

For years, I've admired the work of chalk mural artists like Dana Tanamachi, and always wanted to give chalk lettering a try myself.

While working in the Harvard Business School Startup Studio for Covetly, I noticed a chalkboard wall that barely got used and seized my opportunity. After a quick initial sketch and the okay from studio administrators, the project was underway!

Since this was my first time creating a chalk mural, I decided to tile print my design and trace it onto the wall with transfer paper. Perhaps I'll try my next one freehand!
